To whom this may concern, I visited your 10821 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33618 branch location on 02/07/2014 in hopes of opening a new Checking and Savings account. I sat down with Frank and explained that I’m new to the Tampa area and I wanted to open a Checking and Saving account. I explained that I was interested in the promotional advertisement offering a FitBit Flex to new customers. I told Frank that I was looking for a secondary bank because my primary banking establishment does not have branch locations in FL. I advised Frank the name of the bank that I’m currently banking with and he immediately felt the need to tell me how much he disliked my bank and that he does not think that my bank is a REAL bank because they wouldn’t help him assist one of his customers. I immediately responded to him and advised Frank that I not only bank with my bank, I’m also employed with my bank. Frank IMMEDIATELY continued to insult me by saying that “he’s sorry to hear that I’m employed with my bank and if I’m looking to work for a REAL bank, they’re currently hiring”. I have NEVER experienced such unprofessional behavior in my life from a banking institution. I immediately got up and told Frank that TD Bank is not the bank for me and walked out. I don’t care if TD Bank was giving away a FitBit, a FitBit Surge or a thousand dollars, I would never bank with an unprofessional establishment like TD Bank. I was a customer looking to open a new account. I did not ask nor wanted to know his personal opinion about my employer or bank of choice. Thank you Frank for providing me with the MOST UNWANTED, UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE EVER! I did not provide the name of my employer or bank due to confidentiality.
